Handcrafted from 6mm Red Agate beads, this bracelet features a mini 10mm St. Benedict medal, one of the most powerful symbols of spiritual defence in Catholic tradition. It’s designed to be worn as a quiet shield, a piece that stays close, infused with purpose.
Across cultures and generations, the colour red has symbolised protection. In Kabbalah, red string is worn to guard against the evil eye. In Hinduism, red threads are tied during sacred rituals. In Chinese culture, red represents safety and fortune. And in spirituality, red is the colour of the root chakra, the energy centre that grounds us, protects us, and connects us to the physical world.
For me, red has always meant protezione. Growing up in a Sicilian family, I was taught to wear something red to protect against the Malocchio , the evil eye. Whether from envy, energy, or unspoken jealousy, we believed protection wasn’t superstition, it was intention.
